The setting of da Aurelio, at an altitude of 2175 metres, was chosen for its spectacular views and its appeal in both summer and winter.

In summer the area is full of wild flora and fauna and is a paradise for climbers and hikers.

In winter the the snow covered scenery is peaceful, but the Fedare chairlift, and the Cortina ski area, is only 1½ kilometres (a few minutes) away.

Da Aurelio is less than 30 minutes drive, just 16 kilometres, from the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo. It is also within easy reach of the resorts of Corvara (and other points on the Sella Ronda ski circuit), Alleghe and Agordo, and the town of Longarone.
